The Come and Play projects are for young people who are learning to play instruments with their class. The children will arrive at Symphony Hall for a rehearsal before going into the venue to perform. This is an unbelievable opportunity! For many taking part this will be the first time they perform outside of their school and it will be on stage at Symphony Hall!

Come and Play Orchestra is now full but there is still space in Come and Play Guitars.

The projects are only open to students in classroom instrumental lessons taught by Dudley Performing Arts. We will teach all of our students how to play the music in advance so that all children can take part.

There are two Come and Play sessions, the first is for wind instruments and violins (we are calling this Come and Play Orchestra - This part of the project is now full) and the second for guitars (Come and Play Guitars).

All you need to do is enrol in either the guitars or orchestral group and we will send you more information as the event gets closer. If you are not sure which group to enrol for just make sure that you know what instrument your child is learning and it will be obvious when you register.
