Planning Services is currently operating a continued service with officers working from home following government advice. A duty officer service for general planning enquiries remains in place via telephone and email (Development.firstname.lastname@example.org or 01384 814136).
Site visits are still being carried out by a limited number of officers and only when absolutely necessary. Officers will be contacting planning agents and applicants in this regard where relevant.
It remains the Council’s intention to determine planning applications and pre-application enquiries as efficiently as possible within the requisite target times. However, given that these are unprecedented times it is inevitable that some delays may be experienced during the processing of planning applications and pre-application enquiries. Given this we ask that you please bear with us.
If you are submitting new planning applications or pre-application enquiries we would ask that these are submitted electronically wherever possible.
Planning applications can be submitted and paid for through the planning portal website. Alternatively you can submit planning applications by email to Development.email@example.com .This also applies to pre-application enquiries. Could you please also use our online function for payments wherever possible (https://www.dudley.gov.uk/online-payments-enquiries/ and click pay online).
All Development Control Committee meetings will take place virtually for the foreseeable future.
