If you want to know more about a decision or determination of a benefit, or if you think it is wrong, you should contact us within one month of the date of receiving notification if in respect of Housing and Council Tax Benefit.
If your dispute is in respect of the Council Tax Reduction scheme (help towards Council Tax payments after April 2013) please contact us as soon as possible.

If you still disagree or you have not heard from us within two months you have the right to appeal to an independent body, the Valuation Tribunal Service (you will need to fill in their appeal form).
