King George V Wordsley Park in Dudley has royal connections. Part of the park is an independent charity and registered as a King George Field, which forms part of the National memorial to his late Majesty King George V, which specifies that the land is to be preserved for public recreation.

Located close to the Wordsley Green shopping centre the park has extensive recreational facilities, large areas of flat grass, managed pathways - perfect for walking and many beautifully maintained flower beds across its sweeping landscape.

At the park’s formal entrance opposite Barnett Lane, ornate gates, displaying the Heraldic Panels inform the public of the royal connection. The right panel depicts a unicorn and the left a lion.
