To nominate an asset for inclusion on the list, please complete a nomination form. This form is designed to provide the local authority with the information needed to assets whether the nominated asset meets the criteria of an asset of community value. In order to process the application, the council may need to contact the nominating group to request additional information, evidence or seek clarification.

Please read the guidance notes before proceeding to complete the form.

You can either nominate online or alternatively, you can download a version in Microsoft Word and return this either by email or post;

Please answer all relevant questions as informatively as possible. If you need help during the process, first visit the frequently asked questions page. Further queries can be emailed ACVenquiries@dudley.gov.uk, or call Mark Bieganski on 01384 816846

On receiving an Application

On receipt of your application, you will receive an acknowledgment by email, automatic return or post. Your nomination will be initially assessed by an appropriate officer who will then present it for consideration by the corporate property group. That group will determine whether to include the nomination onto the list of assets of community value.

The council will make a decision about whether to list the asset within eight weeks following the receipt of a completed nomination form. The final decision as to whether the asset is of community value will be made by the corporate property group.

The nominating community group will be notified of the Council's decision, including the reason if the nomination is unsuccessful.

The asset will then be added to a list of successful or unsuccessful nominations, which will be available on the Council website.
