We treat everyone with respect and ask that you do the same. Please be polite to our staff and do not use violence, abusive language, or threatening behaviour.
Any actions spoken, written, or physical that make staff feel uncomfortable, embarrassed, or unsafe are not acceptable.
Our Zero Tolerance Policy covers abuse or threats made:
- In person
- Over the phone
- In online meetings
- In writing, including on social media
This includes:
- Trying to or actually being aggressive or threatening towards staff
- Using rude, abusive, or threatening language (like shouting, swearing, or writing intimidating messages)
If anyone physically threatens or harms a staff member, we will report it to the police. If a resident behaves abusively or makes threats, we will report it to the Head of Service. Breaking this policy means we will stop providing support.
This policy is in place to protect our staff. Thank you for understanding.
