As a result of a recent Taxis Committee hearing two private hire and hackney carriage driver's had their licences revoked by the elected members on the grounds that they were no longer considered fit and proper persons to hold a licence.
The decisions resulted from notification from the West Midlands Police that they had both been charged with serious offences.
