The grounds at Gornal Wood and Stourbridge Crematorium are open as normal but the office receptions remain closed.

The Chapel
Stourbridge Crematorium chapel provides a warm and intimate feel for the funeral service. All denominations are welcome.

Cemetery and Crematorium Information
Family History & Genealogy Research Service
Bereavement Services now offer a Genealogy Research Service to locate a person that is buried within one of the boroughs cemeteries. The online facility provides both the burial location and grave number.
In addition further information on Researching your family history is available from the Dudley Archives and Local History web pages, and an online archive of historic mapping and aerial photography is available.
Remembrance Services
A service of remembrance is held in the Crematorium Chapel at Christmastide. Everyone is welcome to attend. Notices are placed in the local press near to the date, as well as on this website – alternatively you may enquire at the office.
The service takes approximately 45 minutes and after the ceremony all of the buildings are open for inspection. Members of staff are on hand to explain the various aspects of cremation and to answer any questions you may have.
Reserve a place
Due to the popularity of the Christmas service, admission is by ticket only, available free of charge from the Crematorium office a few weeks prior to the event. Please contact us using the details below to reserve a ticket.
