How to Request a Rent Refund

If you have overpaid your rent account or your account is in credit then you may be due a rent refund. Please use the following form to request a refund online.

Alternatively you can call us. If you pay by Direct Debit please contact the Housing Direct Debit Team on 01384 815024 who will review your account and raise a refund by BACS. If you pay by any other method, please contact The Income Team on 0300 555 0010 (all calls charged at local rates)

Support during Coronavirus

We are continuing to offer help and support to our council housing tenants who may experience financial difficulties resulting from the Coronavirus Pandemic. You can contact us on 0300 555 0010 between 9 am and 5 pm.

Anyone who is facing loss of income or other financial strains related to the outbreak can call the council rent income team on 0300 555 0010 for help and advice.

The team is also signposting tenants who may be facing financial difficulty to additional information and services.

People are reminded that those who can pay their rent should continue to do so as normal.
